World school U7 champion
Girls Under-7 competition; age 7 separately reported on 26 December 2025
Gujarat · December 2025 award context, not current residence · India

BEHIND THE RESULT
FIDE’s published results for the 2025 World School Championship place Pragnika Vaka Lakshmi of India first in the Girls Under-7 section, with nine points. The championship took place in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia. The next two finishers in the published table scored seven points each.
Under-7 is the name of the competition section; it should not be treated as proof of her precise age on every tournament day. Our separate award record reports age seven in December 2025. Likewise, Gujarat is a location reported in that later award context, not evidence of her current home. The podium photograph’s certificate identifies her first-place result.
Chess gives a reader a way to explore decisions rather than only admire a trophy. Choose a position and ask: what is threatened, what can be protected and what changes after this move? These are our reader prompts, not claims about Pragnika’s personal coaching or practice routine.
