Tasnim Motala

In addition to supervising Howard University’s Civil and Human Rights Clinic, Motala has directed several projects, including a report on prison censorship nationwide, petitions to international human rights bodies on behalf of families of victims of police brutality, and a white paper on the mental health effects of police brutality on the black community. She previously represented men imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay.
